    TOPVERSLAGEN
Jade of Days is a four piece rock band that formed in mid 2004 and was brought to life by former Divided guitarist Paul Borges and vocalist Dana Kelley. After completing a few songs together as a duette, the two completed the band with a drummer and bassist. In early 2005 the pair enlisted bassist Nelson Medeiros and, in 2006, drummer Junior Medeiros. The chemistry is undeniable. The music produced by this quartet can only be described as truthful and melodic. Kelley's vocals float delicately above the busy guitar licks and solid bass lines and drum beats. Within a short time, the band has managed to write an aray of songs that can be said to have a little something in them for everyone. The music style ranges from emotional intros and clean tone guitar work to heavy and punk-rock-style choruses and everywhere in between. The combined sound, however, is in a league of its own. The band's focus at the time being is experimenting with each other's abilities as musicians and writing great songs. Jade of Days released their first full length album In the Absense of Light in 2005; their much anticipated second full length, Gracas a Deus was released in summer 2006. Jade of Days is currently playing shows in the bay area.
