    TOPVERSLAGEN
Timing is everything. Spurned by previous bands, Remember the City was formed in the fall of 2005. Remember the City began as an acoustic project of Derrick Murray and Jeff Candelaria. Soon, the two began to realize that in order to achieve their personal and musicial goals, more was needed. The two quickly began recruiting from previous bands. Turning to Jon Candelaria on drums. After going through line- up woes, the band asked friend and musician Dave Deeble to play bass. Next, the band quickly asked Shawn Spann to lend his vocals to the group. With all the pieces in play, Remember The City, quickly locked themselves in the studio and began writing.
Not willing to commit to one musical style, Remember the City, has drawn their influence from many different wells. In this effort, this up and coming band is seeking to create something different. Blending many musical styles that range from Metallica to Interpol, they are creating a musical genre all their own. With the forthecoming release of their, self titled EP, and eventual LP, Remember the City's future is looking bright and the only place for them to go is up.
