On a relaxed tone, Zeitnote tells us about his preparation for the Botanique. But be warned: keep your girlfriend away from them when they are around ! 


1. What is your state of mind before the final?

Our rehearsals are more and more SPIRITED. Among many other alcoholic beverages Belgian barley juice is playing an ever increasing role in our lives.

2. 

Did you know l’Orangerie du Botanique ? How does it sound to you?

We feel like little flowers. We are looking forward to lots of humidity in the greenhouse. And we all have green fingers.

3. On which points you may have progressed since the VK ?
Jurgen has figured out how to plug his new pedals into the amp. Ervin has bought a new bass, so now he is the one in the band with the longest instrument. And Robi has learnt a new chord on the keyboard. The rest of the group (Philipp) has made no progress only because he is already perfect.


4. Did you make some friends there ?
We were looking out for pretty girls dressed in short skirts in the dressing room but we saw only tough guys dressed in long black jackets, so no.

5. Which band did you like the most?  
The groups were OK, but we liked their GROUPIES better. They were hot.

6. What are your long-term projects (after Emergenza) ?
We will go on changing the nappies of our babies. Three of us have small children at home. More, we have young Philipp, our baby drummer. We wish he could stop sucking his fingers, it distracts his attention from playing.

7. What can we be expecting from you (on stage) ?
We’ll try to play as many NOTEs as we can in the given ZEIT.

8. For what reasons could you be the national/benelux/international winner?
We have deserved to come in first. Unless we win, we’ll have to go on rehearsing, which takes us away from our families and our midlife crisis will deepen. The jury can’t be so cruel to let it happen.
