Blind issues played their first gig at the Our Lady of Mercy school talent show way back in 2001 with the original line up of Andrew Hopkins on Bass and vocals, Simon Day on drums and Shaun Day on guitar and Vocals (yes Shaun on vocals!). In 2002 as Shaun discovered his increasing reluctance to sing, the band began looking for a new front man and discovered one right there at school in the form of Joey Perotti. Joey had always been a bit of a clown and this would provide the perfect opportunity for him to showcase his talents. joey had recently started playing Desperately seeking to escape the label of talent show has-beens, the band decided that maybe they should write their own songs and begin playing at other venues. the first few songs were surprisingly mature and were immortalized on the 2005 CD - "the door swings open" recorded in a weekend at Sisyphus Sound in San Francisco. Next came a series of gigs and the development of a wholw new set of songs which were immortalized on the CD- "Are you Serious?!?!

Following that - world domination is next!
