    Comandante Zero is an electro-funk drum-bass duo from Brooklyn NYC. CZ is Dan Freeman on bass and vox and Ken White on drums/laptop. CZ was founded in 2005 and first came into existence as a back up group for Virgin Records dance/house artist Xavier. Between June 2005-December 2005 they performed with Xavier in NYC and Europe, performing with other NYC electro-funk groups like the Brazilian Girls and The Juan Maclean. In January 2006, CZ finished its EP with NYC electronica producer Sisko. 2006 has seen them performing at clubs in NYC and London, but most notably at their industrial loft space in Brooklyn where CZ hosted a monthly series of invite only loft parties featuring some of NYC's best upcoming film makers, visual artists, djs and bands.
