The Alan Scott Band is a funky trio that plays original music masterminded by Alan Scott. His songs are little brilliant vignettes that everyone can relate to. Alan's rhythm section powered by the dynamic duo "Fatskeys" is Deren Blessman and Mike Echols. They keep the groove driving in a neck snapping, swaggering kind of way. Alan's songs have been included on MTV's reality show Celebrity Undercover and John Lennon's Songwriting Contest. They earned him a demo deal with MCA Records and he showcased for RCA and Electra in NYC. He has shared the bill with James Brown, Cheap Trick, Everclear and Vertical Horizon just to name a few.
