TOP STORIES
Fall of Eden has taken a different road than most Chicago-area bands, staying away from what is known as popular music. Formed in 2002, four young teens from Woodridge, IL set out to create a unique and enjoyable musical experience. If you took the melodic and harmonizing guitars of Iron Maiden and In Flames, the rhythmic onslaught of Mastodon and Fear Before the March of Flames, the attack of Arch Enemy and Lamb Of God, the energy of Children Of Bodom and Norma Jean, the diversity of Opeth, and poured them all into a cauldron until they seared together, what rises is Fall Of Eden.

Originally under the name Last Standing, the boys practiced relentlessly in Taylor’s basement. Many local shows soon followed and they began picking up a cult following. The band quickly began changing their sound and expanded into many different genres of music. As the music changed so did the name, Fall of Eden was chosen. Being that their music fits into many genres the boys could play shows with a wide range of bands. Later in 2005 Steve was added to create an amazing layer of guitars, it is a very thick and beautiful sound. The band works together to create a sonically mystifying experience with an impressive sound that many bands struggle for years to create. Complete with; Russ’ thick buzz-saw bass lines create an awe-inspiring in your face sound that is a perfect balance to Taylor, Steve and Jason’s beautifully harmonizing melodic guitars complete with heavy breaks and solos and beautiful fills, while Raymond’s drumming drives the band always forward with sharp attacks and heavy bottom. Vocals are a blend of screaming and singing in harmony between good and evil. These elements have caught the attention of many in the local community and always bring many to shows to see and hear what Fall of Eden is all about.
