MEL MEDNICK is the lead singer and primary songwriter for Mel Mednick and The Other Side of the Tracks. Mel has been singing almost as long as she could talk. She has performed at clubs including The Bitter End, The Triad in New York City, The Hook in Brooklyn and the Village Pub South on Long Island with the band and solo-acoustically at coffee houses such as the Sea Cliff Coffee House, The Cup and the Grind on Long Island.

THE OTHER SIDE of the TRACKS have been performing together for 2 plus years. This group of musicians prides themselves on their versatility, whether they are drawing inspiration from their own original music or covering tunes from contemporary artists. Their music style is a mix of indie-rock and acoustic folk-rock. The Other Side of the Tracks is made up of 3 primary members.

LEE KESSLER was formerly the lead singer and frontman with For Your Safety. Lee now plays bass, lead guitar, and a few eclectic instruments such as the melodica. He also collaborates on musical compositions with Mel. Lee's stage presence and on-stage energy always keeps the band rocking. Lee takes his musical career very seriously and currently studies Music Industry Business at Five Town College.

ALEX GREEN is a dedicated original member of the band, who commutes regularly from Tufts University to perform with the band at their performances. He has also collaborated on many of the songs with Mel. Alex plays rhythm guitar, piano and backs up Mel on vocals.

JORDAN BERNSTEIN is a hard driving drummer who never goes unnoticed. Jordan is the free spirit of the band and evokes memories of Keith Moon and Ringo Starr with his comical nature and animated performances. Jordan is the only drummer the band has ever had.
