TOP STORIES
The Forgotten Suns infuse melodic soul with funk, soaring chorus lines and guitar solos to produce a unique sound which they describe as 'vanglorious'.
Formed in late 2005, they became finalists in the Jim Beam National Band Competition, after only four weeks of writing together. They were then asked back to play at the University of Western Sydney orientation week, headlining the event. Since then, the band has been in high demand at live performance venues around Sydney . They have played at Club 77, Headquarters, Sandringham , Annandale Hotel, Bar Broadway, Cat and Fiddle, Excelsior, Vic On The Park, Mandarin Club, and headlined at the Gaelic Club. They were recently asked to play at the Fairfield Youth Week Festival, and have been asked back to play the festival in 2008.
