Singer/guitarist/songwriter Matt Kurzban heads up the NYC rock group DAMN GLAD with bandmates Jeff Baker on drums and Jeff Kalber on bass. Their sound, energy and style of soulful power rock packs a flavor that keeps you humming.

INGREDIENTS: High energy, charisma and personality is their formula for putting on a show worth mention. The driving guitars, infectious grooves and memorable melodies/harmonies distinguish their sound. No gimmicks here. Just driving soulful rock with attitude and introspective lyrics that define who they are.

The group appeared in the pilot episode of the short-lived CBS television show "Love Monkey" (now airing on VH1) starring Tom Cavanagh, Jason Priestley and Larenz Tate. DG won Best Power Rock Group in the summer of 2004 at the NYC International Music Festival. Although considered more mainstream/commercial rock, the group has shared the stage with such groups as Sevendust, Filter, POD, Puddle Of Mudd among others. They've been featured on such mainstream radio stations Q104.3FM, WBAB 102.3FM and WLIR 92.7FM in New York.

The group released their debut full length cd entitled "And That's That!" in early 2004. The group performed throughout 2004-06 in support of their debut cd which you can sample here on their website. DG is preparing to record their follow up for early 2007 release.
