Well, David Kerin knew Atom Rosen, who knew Mig Miner, who didn't know Jube Lang, who did know advanced calculus, which entirely escaped Chris McGuire, who also knew David, who had seen Tom Devine "around", but didn't know that he was actually a traveller from the 26th century, sent to destroy soybean crops in the Northeren Chinese province of Hunan, and well, when they all finally decided to play some songs that David had sitting around, the wind blew multitudinously.
Did you read that right? In deed. In practice, yes.
YOUNG has BEENS will release a record, their first, in Spring of 2007. This will be a mark of reckoning, much like the soybean.
Is it too late for crafty, strenuous little songs like these to make a Mark? You'd have to ask Mark to know for sure, but with the recent success of large-format rock outfits like New Pornographers, Wilco, Radioh... never mind that one, that smacks of pretense, and so do we.
