Emergenza is the world's largest unsigned music contest dedicated to new and up-and-coming unsigned bands. It takes place throughout the globe. From all the major European cities as well as in North America, Japan and Oceania, bands or musicians of any category, can participate performing their own original songs. ""Covers"" are just about tolerated if given an "original touch". It is a marathon of music galore, that embraces some of the most prestigious international club stages. From the beginning of the year to June, the bands go through a knockout tournament, progressing to different levels. At the end of each concert, the crowd vote for their favorite band of the night. The group singled out by the public then moves forward to the next level in the Festival. The target is to reach the huge International Final and share the bill with superstars musicians. The winners then have the opportunity to go on a European Tour touching different cities.
