    TOP STORIES
Paintbox City is an unsigned band from Sydney, Australia. They have all attended The Australian International Performing Arts High School, located in Harris Park, Sydney. Paintbox City originally formed in February, 2008 and due to two members leaving for personal reasons Paintbox City then officially formed as a whole band in June 2008. The band consists of 4 members including: Lead singer - Melanie Louw who is 16 years old and has a background of singing since she was 8 and has been writing lyrics since she was 13. Guitarist - Emma Nagy who is 17 and has been playing the guitar since she was 12 (and also contributes back up vocals.) Bassist - Daniel Figueroa who is 18 years old and has been playing Bass since he was 12 and Drummer - Sam Marsonet who is 17 years old and has been playing Drums since he was 13. In such little time and with lots of determination Paintbox City have created one thriving and talented band and with big dreams and with how much they have accomplished in such a small amount of time, their dream of hitting the big time might be closer than they think.

Paintbox City has joined forces with the Official Australian Tokio Hotel Street Team to put on a live fanaction concert in August. Paintbox City will be covering songs from the International German rock band, Tokio Hotel and will be singing in both English and German to show how diverse the band is. It is a fanaction concert which will be taped before the show, during the live performance and also after the show in order to be sent to Universal Germany and Tokio Hotel themselves, to bring the German rock band to Australia. Paintbox City is determined and ecstatic to be able to throw a show for all Australian Tokio Hotel fans and seeing as Paintbox City are fans themselves; they are extremely excited to be able to perform their amazing songs in front of the Tokio Hotel fan base in Australia. Representatives of Universal Australia will be invited to attend the concert to view this amazing young Australia rock band.
