    TOP STORIES
Mick Jagger once said that “Anything worth doing, is worth overdoing” This has been Modern Error's philosophy when Creating, Practicing and living.

A new breed of Pop-rock launched itself from Sydney’s West; digging a war path by playing countless shows in a ridiculous short period of time all over Sydney. In a genre that has many an impersonator, Modern Error has achieved a signature sound. This has been obtained by a result of countless man hours, dedication and that little extra push that most others tend to give out on.

With a brand new E.P release just on the horizon, the young upstarts have taken the next step in the formidable ladder that is seen as the music business. A ladder that they intend on climbing all the way to the top. The latest collection of songs recorded at Studio Zapata allows Modern Error to show off just a touch of what five guys from very different backgrounds can create.

“Impressive”, “Energetic”, “Tight”, “Chaotic” have all been used to describe Modern Error’s stage presence. At any given show, it’s often the case that members of the sprightly crew can be seen flailing body parts and instruments all over the place whilst maintaining angelic type harmonies.

Only beginning their journey together a year and a half ago, members of the band show a kinship often seen in bands far their senior and this vigor reflects primarily in the music these kids create.

Gone are the sappy love songs of pop’s uncomfortable past. Enter Modern Error with a sound soaked in a rocking, sugary mess and an attitude a mere force to be reckoned with. There writing is primarily based strongly on a party vibe that just doesn’t seem to die. Even so, the group seems to be able to hold their own when it comes to their described “tough” gigs.
In the past it wasn't uncommon to find them playing stages with bands brimming with rock, folk, pop punk, post hardcore and metal. The chameleon that is Modern Error is able to adapt with their latest upcoming release, appealing to the wider masses.

It’s hard to find a band that would put as much time and effort into what started as a fledgling dream. These guys were determined to make a mark as Australia’s key players in pop rock.
