    TOP STORIES
Seven Sermons is a four piece progressive rock band that consists of Dylan Reo, Alister Rentz, Marty Pye and James Collins. Seven Sermons are ever-evolving and know no musical boundaries. The sound is unique, the music thought provoking, soft, loud, heavy and packed with emotion.

"Sometimes I see us almost as if from the sideline. Watching us change and solidify then grow again. Then I think about how much I've changed and grown as a person since November last year.
I can't believe how quickly we've found our way."
    - Dylan Reo.

The band is currently working on an EP to be released and toured within the next year . There is also talk of a large project launch show in the very near future which is guaranteed to whet the appetite. Fortunately you won't have to wait for the EP as there will be live performances in the months to come - possibly an early release or two which will have you squealing with delight in the meantime.

Seven Sermons was formed in November 2009. Alister, James and Dylan had played together previously in a five piece rock group "Motivation Corp". With an idea for a heavier more progressive style the three advertised for a drummer for the new four piece that would become Seven Sermons. Marty Pye was the first to audition. With over 10 years experience with Canberra based group "Degrees of Freedom" who supported bands such as Karnivool, Birds of Tokyo, Sunk Loto and Cog, a creative style and similar values, Pye fits the bill perfectly. SS's influences include Tool, Soundgarden, Rage Against the Machine, A Perfect Circle, Karnivool, Sneaker Pimps and many others.

With an eye on not only Australia but the world, SS continues to draw lines then step over them and the EP should be a killer.
