    The impregnation of the beautiful thing that is Three Shades of Black happened at East-West University (in Chicago), when Guitarist Matt Scott and Bass Guitarist Greg Lee met up with the drummer Howard Hogue. The Birth of the Three Shades; however occurred at Fab studios (also in chicago).
