    TOP STORIES
Basically we’re a 5-piece hard rock band based on the northern beaches. We started out in early 2006 as a 4-piece consisting of brother’s Luke (lead guitar, vocals) and Peter (drums) McDermott, Nick Todd (guitar) and Ivana Popovac (bass) and after a few months trying to get everything together we played our first gig at the Roundhouse for the UNSW band comp and made the final. Since then we’ve played at a few cool venues including the Gaelic club, Manly Fisho’s, Mona Vale pub and of course the Roundhouse. We’ve also played quite a few dodgy places as well but they need not be named. At the start of 2007, we recorded our first EP called ‘Long Time Coming’ which featured four of our better songs (at the time). As 2007 progressed, we decided it was time to polish off our sound, doing so with the addition of keyboardist Paul Taylor. We debuted our new 5-piece outfit at the 2007 UNSW band comp where we took second place.

We’re somewhat influenced by artists such as Metallica, Joe Satriani, Guns ‘N’ Roses, Nirvana, Dead Kennedys, Bad Religion, NOFX, Yngwie Malmsteen and Iron Maiden as well as a few classical and jazz composers but overall we’re trying to do something a little different (but pretty much every band claims that so I guess you can decide for yourself). Basically we like melody, harmony, time changes and kick ass guitar solos. Enjoy!
