    TOPVERSLAGEN
Formed in 1996 under the name Bastard's Basement and later reformed in 2002 as BASEMENT PROJECT, BP is a blend of slick hip hop vibes with raw rock rhythms. Combining different influences from the urban landscape with anything from roots reggae to metal, each member brings their own diverse sound to the table. From Rico and Tree’s classical background to Szocs and Bone’s self brought funk, the music is full of technique and pure passion. Rodney’s mic skills top it off with solid lyricism and fresh flow from rap to reggae. With catchy songs to feed the pop hungry to alternative epics for the underground aficionado, BP gives everyone something to listen to.

This Toronto based band has just completed a new set of tunes and is constantly adding to it’s repertoire in order to keep the live experience fresh. With great stage presence and a visible love for the music, BP bangs out song after song of genre crossing rhythms with creative breaks and memorable outros. Looking to make a name for itself BP is full of talent and ambition.

A band to watch in the coming years, Basement Project, is an innovative crew in a scene filled with far too many generic rock groups.
