    They are not your stereo-typical all girl band. Never afraid to step out of their comfort zone, Bonney Read has been very active in the Sydney music scene within the small six months together.

    By combining gut-wrenching double-kick action with heart-stringing vocal harmonies and words that speak truth, the band reveals and celebrates the dramas surrounding the sheer bliss and bogus of youth, stupidity, drunken debauchery, true friendship, and the ridiculous obsession with love and everything between.

    Bonney Read has played in venues such as Sydney’s Spectrum, Phoenix, Abercrombie Hotel, Supper Club, The Claire Hotel, The Surf Rock Hotel, Newtown RSL, Bondi Beach Hotel and Manly Fishos.

    Bonney Read was also asked to play at Mardi Gras Fair Day attracting 70,000 people, the parades after-party to a sold out venue. They have also been asked to play at the 2010 Bondi Beach Music festival to a record crowd.

    They're bringing back attitude to chick rock. Hold your breath, this one's gonna sting a little.
