We still feel the resonance of the success of Willowtree, the band that won the Emergenza festival 2001, in the Emergenza offices in Europe and Canada. But the new edtition of this festival is already started in Europe and Canada. Of course Sweden is, once again, a part of it! What are we talking about? The Emergenza festival, as you can read on this site, has the aim to give the opportunity to young and upcoming bands to play live on stage and characterize with help of the best technique, a fabulous back line and professional managers. It is a springboard for young musicians who are eager to present themselves, who like to measure with European and Canadian musicians, who like to play for friends and colleagues but especially for those searching for musical pleasure. It’s a contest for bands who want to improve themselves, to learn from other bands and professionals of the music industry. How does it work? Starting from March Emergenza organizes concerts in the best venues of Stockholm. Every band who fills in the enrollment form will play live on the first round. If the audience are pleased by this performance, this Up & Coming band has the chance to play in the semi-finals, the final and, who knows, at the European Final in Rothenburg, Germany, the last “fight” between the European and Canadian finalists for the big prize: a tour in the States!
