The In-Your-Face Hard Rock of Surrender The Thought

This young female fronted rock and roll band means business, and they plan to show it March 8th at The Garage in London

Mix together some old-school Black Sabbath, a little 80’s underground, splash in some pop punk, put a young pissed-off Joan Jett on vox, and you’ve got Kent band Surrender The Thought, who sound decades their musical seniors. They’ve just now got a debut EP in the works, which they’ve given Emergenza exclusive access to. And let us tell you, it’s a kicker. With songs like “Born to Die” and “Hells Little Girl”, it’s obvious Hellcat singer Summer Williams means business, and her band is more than there to back her up.

To add to their live schedule leading up to the release of the new album, they plan to hit the stage at The Garage in London. A lot is riding on the night of March 8th, which could be a turning point for the young band whose dream it is to play major festivals. March 8th will be their chance to win a showcase gig at a prestigious European locale as well as a spot in the international finals of Emergenza, held at the Taubertal Open Air Festival in Germany. It will all be in the judges hands, but Surrender The Thought won’t be shy about who they think the winner should be. Be there to see how it all plays out.
