Natty Cool is a roots rock reggae outfit consisting of up to 12 musicians when fully complete, founded and based in Lyon, France. The foundations of the group were set in 2007 with drums, bass, guitars and vocals. Since then, however, with the arrival of additional vocalists and the even more recent addition of a live horns section, the Natty Cool family has now discovered it's complete and desired line-up in 2010. Natty Cool features a mix of origins. With group members originally coming from England, France, Martinique, Reunion Island, Japan and Togo the band shares a wealth of influences and backgrounds. Through this shared passion for music (and of different varieties of reggae music in particular), the Natty Cool style is found. The sound created would be described as roots reggae, blended with elements of rock, dub and seggae, and with a touch of jazz and soul. With many new compositions in the pipeline, Natty Cool are preparing their debut album. The band continues to look for a label and a possible tour manager. Their first EP 'Change the world' became available in may 2011.
