The Greenriver Confession are a Metalcore/Hardcore Band from Lower Austria, which was founded in the beginning of 2011 by Berni (Drums), Max (Guitar) and Chris (Vocals). Short after in Pat (Guitar) and Dave (Bass) they found the right like-minded persons. Money and trends never stood in their foreground but the passion for music by 5 individuals. After the release of their first EP „Psychopast“ they rapidly gained ground in the Vienna music scene by playing shows with bands like Suffokate, Stick To Your Guns, Blind Witness, King Conquer, Silent Screams, As Enemies Arise, Show Your Teeth, Give Em Blood, etc. Due to musical differences Chris leaves the band. Replaced by his cousin Alex they are now working on a 2012-Release.
