Summer 2002, Belgium, Keep It Deep started to play their psyche-math-prog rock. Some consider the shell of the band as heavy rock, other as melodic metal. A shell containing a lot of diverse musical styles that might seem harsh to put together, such as jazz, ska, blues, salsa, hardcore, postrock, ... Their progressive songs aren't often shorter than 6 minutes, as King Crimson, Yes or Mr Bungle could do.
They released an LP, "Hatching", in November 2012, showing a range of what they worked on during all these years. Check out their website www.keepitdeep.be
Currently, the band is working on fresh material, so expect some nice surprises soon!
