Let's talk about the band ... 
C.J.Seven is an aspiring Belgian band. Four great musicians with drive, feel, catchy songs and a weathered soul. The band has a vibrant live reputation and a story to go with it. Influenced by Pearl Jam, Jane's Addiction, Foo Fighters, Porcupine Tree, Incubus, Pixies, Dream Theater, Placebo and many many more, the band's work is often compared to that of The Raconteurs, Arcade Fire or Editors.

The band's record debut, the EP 'Resilience', contains five brand new songs and one cover of Neil Young's 'Fucking Up' and is recorded in the ICP Studio's in Brussels and the band's home based studio: 'The Butterfly' in Rillaar. 'Resilience' is produced by Michel 'Shelle' Dierickx and Seven and is released on the Butterfly Records label (November 2011).*

To support the release of 'Resilience', the band did a promotour in 2012, playing The 12 Bar Club (London, UK), The Road to GrauwRock (Grauw, Netherlands), Counting Cows Festival (Murat, France), PIA Stage 2012 (Aarschot, Belgium), De Speeltuin (Breda, Netherlands) and De Heksenketel (Roosendaal, NL).

In 2013, the band played their first gig in New York, USA, at the Rockwood Music Hall.
At this very moment, the band is working on new songs and a new E.P. will be recorded end of June 2014 with producer Jake Hertzog (USA).
