Back For More Rock and Roll: A Gentlemen’s Agreement

Alt Metal band A Gentlemen’s Agreement had already rocked the stage at The Lair once and is back for more this Friday

Since we saw them last year Sydney band A Gentlemen’s Agreement has been up to a whole lot of rock and roll. Tons of new song writing spawned from the release of their debut EP and the desire to lay down a full-length album. Last year when we asked them to describe themselves, they said raw, emotional, metal. This year, it’s energetic, loud, raw. Notice the common denominator—raw. These guys literally bleed rock and roll, fusing a modern, adolescent angst with a Fugazi-esque California stoner hardcore. When you hear one of the new songs, like “Aggressive Poem”, it’s really no wonder the band is inspired by Dave Grohl in all his forms and colours (they take kindly to the tunes of bands like Godsmack, Tool, Karnivool, Deftones and Twelve Foot Ninja, as well). AGA has already rocked the stage at The Lair once and are back for more this Friday, July 18th for another shot at the Emergenza Festival Australia title. Don’t miss out on their explosive performance. Click here for more show info.
