    TOP STORIES
CLOTH was formed in 2006 by frontman Isaac “IHAZE” and Producer/Manager David S. Martinous. The idea, to create a fusion of urban hip-hop and progressive rock that would appeal to a broad demographic and multiple genres. The name CLOTH is a metaphor for the need for people regardless of color, religion, or backgrounds to come together. Don’t get any hippie notions, this music is upbeat the sound for the new generation. Soon drummer Alex Moscatelli was brought on to anchor the live sound and with him came guitarist Daisuke Wachi and bassist Yolen Farias, All three are graduates of Musicians Institute in Hollywood as well as the man behind the machine, behind Cloth, Producer David S. Martinous. With an all star line up of players representing the East Coast and the West Coast as well as Japan and Brazil, CLOTH is a band with appeal for many people. And that was the idea from the start.
CLOTH has been sharpening their skills in the studio as well as on stage since their formation. They completed a three song EP, engineered and produced by David S. Martinous under the umbrella of Intravert Music. They have played shows at The Joint and a sold out show at The GIG in Hollywood. And now they are in the semis of the Los Angeles region of Emergenza!, one step away from the top 24 unsigned bands in the US and a spot on a European tour this summer. Expect a lot more from CLOTH in 2007.
