TOP STORIES
Sept of 2006 Singer/ Songwriter Rob Arista was contacted by up and coming local Guitarist/Songwriter Eric Umfress looking to create something that was different and more artistic than the rest of the local ”scream scene”.

Due to a shortage of dedicated and non addicts as far as players they went through the local talent with several players coming through the band. (We live in the mountains!)

Finally in late June of 2007, a local prodigy of a drummer named Maximilian contacted Rob Arista through a mutual friend and said,”Give me a chance!...I won’t let you down.”
4 months later, John Phillippi and Josh Webster came on guitar and bass, respectively.

So, the present band of Skarma Sutra came to be.

In Our short time together (6 months), we have built a set, show, sound and bond that takes most bands years to have and it gets better. After our debut performance opening for CYPHIN, we were offered 4 more headlining shows at the Knight Bar and Club in Bedford, PA. And all this because of a improve warm up. We have interest and support from many for our work

We are in fact working with other bands at the present moment and local radio stations to start our own tour and market our own products. We are in fact helping other bands with setting up shows and burning CD’s, printing labels and jewel case inserts etc. for their press kits.

We are also working on studio time so that we can do more recording in a professional environment. We could record at least 6 long albums at the present. We work very well as a team and perform very well as a team and ensemble. We are confident in our performance and plan to play whenever and wherever we can and push our music to the masses. We already have a strong following and we are selling our 6 Track Demo in the local area.

We hope to have our music become a popular franchise, offering clothing and apparel styles not yet designed, posters, T.V. Series (yes, that’s right), DVDS, Shoes, Toilet Paper (maybe…) Video Games, etc…

The bottom line is that we are not stopping what we are doing anytime soon. It feels to good and people swarm us wherever we go. We recorded this in an attic with our own equipment and mixed it ourselves.

We have so much more and we want the world to hear us!

~Thank You~
