    À LA UNE
A-Stim began as a dream. A dream to once again bring back the prestige and power of rock in an age when so much of what we hear is a corporate-driven, cookie-cutter shit-fest. Shirking the easy road, A-Stim dared to stand out from the local music scene of metal and punk, declaring once and for all that punk was indeed dead... and they would put the final nail in its coffin, and piss on its grave.
Blending a 90's-alt sound with the more stoned-out stylings of desert rock, A-Stim is a band that continues to defy true description not only musically, but also in formation. The first two things that grab most people's attention about A-Stim is the fact that Jeff Pond drums and sings main vocals on many of their songs, and also the fact that A-Stim has not one, but TWO "lead" vocalists. Adding his own style and power to the A-Stim sound, Nate Honore takes the front-man position and makes it his own in numerous songs, sometimes playing bass... sometimes playing guitar. It isn't about looks, and it isn't about convention. It's all about the sound and the fury of the rock they produce.
A-Stim just released their first EP, Trial By Stone.
