    À LA UNE
Gabriel and thee Apocalypse is a fresh, innovative, and moody four-piece band out of Minneapolis, MN. Combining a female front-woman, complex rhythms and melodies, an explosive live show, and an ever-evolving sound has made Gabriel and thee Apocalypse an up-and-coming force to be reckoned with in the Minneapolis/Minnesota music scene.

Soon after the band formed in 2001, they released a four song demo entitled Third Crucifixion. At the CD release party they played to a sold out crowd and sold out of demos and other merchandise. Also, in 2004 the band has won every battle of the bands they entered, including The Best Unsigned Band Competition, sponsored by OarFin Records(among others). As a result Gabriel and thee Apocalypse were awarded time to record, mix, and master their newest demo at the OarFin Records Studio in Minneapolis. They have since been performing those tracks as well as new material to the Minneapolis area crowd. This new demo also earned GATA airplay on 93.7/93x Minneapolis’ most popular rock radio station. More recently, GATA has recorded their latest work at Winterland/Echo Bay Studios with nationally recognized studio engineer - Todd Fitzgerald.

Gabriel and thee Apocalypse has tapped into an original sound and performing energy that has captivated audiences and kept them coming back. They have found the sound, the message, the presence, and the originality to change the face of modern music.
