    The goal of Potter's Field since its inception was to create music that is aggressive, melodic, and challenging to play. That end result has led to live shows that earn the respect of fellow musicians, club owners, and fans.

    With influences based along the lines of Dead Kennedys, Slayer, Lamb of God, and Superjoint Ritual, Potter's Field has an approach that is uncompromisingly aggressive and darkly melodic. The band focuses on creating strong grooves as well as turning out complicated riffs and rhythms, all of which contribute to their style and originality.

    In a music scene dominated more by copycats and cliches than by talent, Potter's Field carves a hardcore path through the hype and ego. Ferocious, intricate, and unforgiving, Potter's Field is a much needed reminder of what American metal is about.
