    WORLD FINAL: ALL THE REVIEWS

    day three

    POP-PORN

The day started with heavy rain. Unfortunately it was raining all night and the mood was down but wait, what do we see?? is that the sun coming out?....shit! as if by magic the almighty is helping us when we need it the most......ok then, let's kick the 3rd day off! Electronica and rock was mixed together from the first band. The Prague boys kicked us in the face and it was the best way to forget about our hangover and we immediately get to "jiggle" to this very competent (and I should underline very competent) musicians. Great stage presence and first rate tunes made this the perfect way to start our last day.

    WEDNESDAY FALL

OK, this is definetely the "heavy rock" day. Wednesday fall came out and literally got the front row clapping to the first riff. Hefty screams combined with super distorted guitars made the Barcelona boys an instant favourite with the "fresh" crowd rolling down from the hills. Metal heads were coming out of the woodwork to listen to to the heavy beats and distorted guitars. The lead singer led the boys with much spirit and boldness. A super charged set from these wonderful lads. Gracias barcelona!

    SIR JAMES

The last band of the week end is from Amsterdam. Creating moods with their dreamy pop, the Dutch gave us vintage keyboard vibes. Harmonies and "first class" sounds are definetely a way to people's hearts. These songs are so ridicolously catchy that I heard people singing the choruses back stage 20 minutes after the end of their performance...always a good sign. Simply brilliant. So now let's wait an hour or two and see the end results......go rock and roll olympics!!!!!!!
