T-Minus Ten formed late 2003 in the suburbs of Atlanta when Chris Davis (2/24/90) and Cory Goldsmith (4/12/90) met in 8th grade. For a while, Cory and Chris headed their small two-man project under the name Ten Seconds and Counting. In 2005, their first demo, One Take, was recorded in a home studio. After a serious remodeling in sound, and with the addition of bassist/vocalist Harris Howard, the new trio got back into the studio with producer Steve Powell from the Bull Moon Digital Recording Studio in early 2006. If It Takes You Away EP was completed in May 2006 and received a large local reaction. Grant Parsons (2/11/90) joined the band in late May 2006 to add the wonderful sound of keys to the band. Unfortunately, shortly after Grant joined the band, Harris had to leave the band due to personal conflicts at home. T-Minus Ten then recruited Cory’s childhood baseball teammate/friend Matt Gabriel (7/11/91) to play bass. A month or two later, Eric Cohen (12/24/91) took over as bassist and vocalist, while Matt began to play his primary instrument; guitar. T-Minus Ten’s unique alternative rock sound has attracted the attention of many local fans and venues. The have played a variety of shows at several venues and restaurants including The Vinyl in downtown Atlanta and Jay’s Basement in Alpharetta. T-Minus Ten will also be featured in the upcoming Emergenza Battle of the Bands in February.
