The Acoustic Hero is organised in cooperation with Takamine and Ovation, and several music stores.
The Emergenza Acoustic Hero starts this year in 8 cities in USA.

Philadelphia, PA

One concert will be held in each one of these cities.
8 musicians will perform live competing to be the best acoustic hero in town.
There is no enrollment fee.
At the end of each concert, the best acoustic guitar player, chosen by the public, will win an acoustic Takamine or Ovation guitar. The best guitarist chosen by a jury goes on to the next level. Click here for more details on the Acoustic Tour.
The American Final will take place in Chicago on July 6th 2006.
The winner of Emergenza Acoustic Hero 2006 will go to Germany to play at the Taubertal Open Air Festival

The Emergenza Acoustic Showcase is organised in cooperation with Takamine, Ovation, Crate and Ernie Ball.
Acoustic musicians from all around Europe have the chance to play live acoustic in the best 26 European clubs, in 28 shows all around Europe, from May to December: Paris, Bordeaux, Lyon, Barcelona, Valencia, Granada, Madrid, Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Koln, Wien, Stockholm, Gotenburg, Glasgow, Edinburgh, London.
At the end of each concert, the best acoustic guitar player, chosen by the public, will win an acoustic Takamine or Ovation guitar.
The best band (or solo artist) chosen by a jury will go on to the next level.
The European Final will take place in London in December.
A jury will decide the winning band or solo artist who will perform in Los Angeles (during the NAMM show) and in Frankfurt (during the Frankfurt Messe). He will also win a wonderful Ovation Deluxe LX special edition customised for Emergenza Acoustic.
