A festival where bands of all musical styles proceed through various elimination rounds, having the opportunity to play in major international venues. The festival is designed for unsigned bands who have not yet found a promotional channel and who are trying to gain notoriety and experience on the national and european music scene.

Are you ready to take part in the world’s most important contest? We will provide you with the stage, the technical organization and the promotion; what happens next is up to you!

The best bass players and the best guitar players will be awarded MUSIC MAN instruments. In addition to this, there are SABIAN handmade cymbals and MAPEX drumsets that will be awarded to the best drummers. SENNHEISER microphone and wireless systems, REMO percussion sets, GENZ BENZ guitar amps and cabinets, GENZ BENZ bass amps and cabinets, as well as KONIG & MAYER stands and hardware andTKL professional flight cases will be awarded to the best bands and musicians.

has delivered quality concerts in an environment that aims to give up-and-coming bands the tools and the means to succeed.

FESTIVAL FORMAT:
Emergenza Festival 2007 will start in September/December 2006, and the Finals will unfold in May/June/July 2007. In each city, we will hold a round of Eliminatory, Semi-Finals and one Final (+ quarter finals in the biggest cities).

In the eliminatory & semifinals, the bands will play in groups of 7 to 9 per night. Finals will count 12/14 bands. Each night, some bands will be selected by the audience to move onto the next round. A professional jury will be added to the audience vote at each Final.
Each band will play for 30 minutes (including 5-minutes set-up onstage).

Winners from the National Finals will play at the International final in Germany in August 2007
This is the Grand Prize. FLIGHTS, MEALS, HOTEL ACCOMODATIONS and TECHNICAL SUPPORT for the bands shall be provided by EMERGENZA.

During Finals, there will be many prizes awarded to the best musicians:
MUSIC MAN and OLP instruments, GENZ BENZ amps, customized SABIAN cymbals, MAPEX drumsets, SENNHEISER microphones and wireless systems, REMO percussions, KONIG & MAYER stands and hardware, and TKL professional flight cases.

The band who win the EMERGENZA FESTIVAL INTERNATIONAL FINAL gains six weeks fully paid top production @Roastinghouse Studios (Malmoe, Sweden)

The enrolment fee guarantees the band’s participation in the Elimination round of the Festival in their city. The participants will under no circumstances whatsoever be required to pay further amounts to the organization.
