1. The Origin. 1992 - 1995

- 1992. Emergenza debuts in Rome (Italy) on January 8th in front of 245 people.
- Only five months later at the final, the audience totaled 3000.
- 1993. First live compilation CD hits the streets featuring bands that participated in the festival.
- Between live and studio, another 54 albums are produced in just ten years.
- 1995. The design, which will soon become Emergenza’s trademark & logo is unveiled.
2. The European growth. 1996-1999 
- 1996. January 7th: Paris’ Club Gibus hosts Emergenza’s first concert outside of the Italian border.
- 114 bands signed up in the ‘city of lights’ to participate in the festival, yielding 23 nights – seven more then the 16 which were planned.
- 1997. The first European final takes place June 22nd at the London Astoria with a head count of 2500 spectators.
- 1998. The most prestigious clubs and venues in ten countries across Europe come on board to host Emergenza.
3. The success. 2000-2003

- 2001. The official scouting deal between Emergenza and Columbia/Sony is signed.
- This same year, the total value of gifts & prizes awarded by Emergenza exceeds 400,000 US$
- 2001. Montreal (Canada) is included in the Festival.
- 2002. For the first time ever, the winning band is awarded a US tour covering California.
In the following years, the tour become integrated in the notorious Vans Warped Tour.
- 2003. Emergenza’s Acoustic Festival is born. So far, musicians from 10 countries & over 20 cities participated in the event.
4. Present and Future. 2004-2006

- 2004. Boston, Buffalo, Chicago, Philadelphia & Washington are the first cities to host and welcome the Emergenza Festival into the US.
