    The Luxe started out as a songwriter project between Niclas and Timmie in Malmö, Sweden 2007, consisting of two guitars only. The project soon expanded into a quartet with the additions of Christoffer playing the bass and Björn playing the drums. They deliver poppy arena disco combined with a touch of britpop. The lyrics urge the listener not to stop trying and deals with relations and the rawness of love in the time and room where the human being is placed. For the band, the live performance and the meeting with the audience is the main reason why they play music.

    - In April 2008 they released their debut EP 'Nobody Can be Uncheered with a Balloon' which they managed to produce all by themselves.

    - In May 2008 they won one of the biggest online music contests in Sweden, called Tele2 Studio (http://myspace.com/tele2studio).

    - During the summer 2008 they played several acclaimed concerts all around the south of Sweden.

    - In October they signed up for a 2 years management deal with Nebraska Production (http://www.nebraskaproduction.se).

    - The same month they also signed a contract with Warner Music Sweden (http://www.warnermusic.se).

    - The 10th of november they released their debut single 'An Untitlted Situation' digitally on Warner Music Sweden.

    - They’ve just recorded and produced their second EP which is still unnamed. It will be released in the beginning of 2009.
