    Kid Galahad's history goes back to 2005 when the half-brothers Christopher Nordahl and Marcus Svedin decided to form a techno-duo called "the farm-brothers". After a couple of gigs in the Gothenburg underground-scene, they thought it would be neat to have a bassplayer. Erik Benjaminsson was a huge fan of "the farm-brothers" and also a friend of the band after talking to them after their gigs. Erik told them that he didn't know how to play the bass but told Marcus that they should give him a month to learn to play it. Said and done, after a month's practice Erik came back and played them flawless interpretations of Several Mr Bungle-songs and a couple of " The Farm-brothers"songs aswell. Since then he's been a part of the band.

    Meantime Christopher had been dating Johan Riedel, a guitarist of the band "department 4".
    Which was on the verge of an breakup. And since Johan had been jamming with the "farm-brothers" at several occations, he left department 4 and became a full-fledged "farm-brother".
    This formation of the band became an underground-phenomenon with hits as "my sisters attic" and "juggernaughty".

    Even though the success with "farm-brothers", the boys felt that there was something missing.
    A singer. Johan told the others that he knew somebody that had bomb-threated his junior high when he was a softmore, and that he thought he would be a great singer because he had a pretty deep voice.
    They managed to get an hold of the guy, Mattias Frisk at the Kumla kriminalvårdsanstalt, which is Swedens largest Fastfood-chain. Mattias was the head-cook there. He told the guys that he would join the band if they changed their name to "Kid Galahad".
    Said and done. Kid Galahad has been playing all over Sweden and Erik Benjaminssons native country Finland since the formation.

    The best way to describe how Kid Galahad sound is music.
