    11 Jahre Bühnenerfahrung, etliche Gigs und ein charismatischer Frontmann sind die Schlagwörter, mit denen man Selfish treffend umschreiben kann. Bandmitglieder kamen und gingen in all den Jahren. Nur Andreas Markmann (Drums), Kai Höpermann (Guitar) und Sascha Sell (Vocals) gehören zu den Gründungmitgliedern von Selfish.
    Im Februar 2007 steigt Tom Rohloff als neuer Bassist ein. Und schon ein Jahr später im Oktober 2008 können wir seinen Bruder Carsten Rohloff als neuen Lead Gitarristen in der Band begrüßen .Neue Ideen entstehen. Kreativität wird freigesetzt.
    Die Band wächst zusammen. Gemeinsam wird an neuen Songs gefeilt. Dabei bedient sich Selfish vieler Facetten des Rocks. Brettharte Gitarren und funky Licks aber auch alternative Rock Einflüsse bilden einen Teil der neu geschaffenen Songs, die durch eingängige Hooklines ihre Eigenständigkeit unterstreichen. Erste Erfolge zeichnen sich ab. Selfish belegt den 3ten Platz im Oxmox-Bandcontest Finale! „You know my name„ wird im Rahmen des NDR 2 Newcomer Wettbewerbs im Radio angespielt.
    Und Selfish released die vierte CD „ IN FLAMES“ im Herbst 2008

    Eleven years on stage, many many gigs and a charismatic frontman these are the words to describe Selfish. Many bandmembers come and gone in all these years. Andreas Markmann (Drums), Kai Höpermann (Guitar) und Sascha Sell (Vocals) are the founders of Selfish and still in this band.
    Im febuary 2007 Tom Rohloff the new bassmen joined the band , followed by his brother Carsten Rohloff as our new lead guitar player in october 2008 .
    A new creativity flows through selfish.
    The band grows together.
    We worked hard to create our new style and new songs.
    A mix from the many faces of Rockmusic with an influence
    of Alternative Rock .
    Melodic and calm / loud and hard ... thats it !!
    The third place from about fivehundred bands at the finale of the nationwide
    oxmox bandcontest was the greatest success for us in 2007.
    To play for 1500 people in Hamburg was the coolest thing we´ve ever done.
    In 2008 we worked hard at our new album „ In Flames“ and we are real proud
    to say its the best damn thing we´ve released in our history.
