    The band of five from Kiel gathered their original cast in early June of 2007. Their powerful sounds elated their fans on miscellaneous shows.

    In early October 2008 guitarist and founder Joe rejoined the band. Moreover Stephan is now playing the drums, thus providing rocking rhythms.

    Many years of musical experience are noticeable throughout the pounding, but yet emotional arrangement of the different songs.

    "No stereotypes!" is the motto, and therefore Vertical Blinds can only hardly be assigned a certain classical style of metal for all members have different musical roots.
    This does NOT lead to the conclusion, that the band is not concious of their own style, but besides straight rock there are also elements from wave, indie, grunge, metalcore and 80's power metal existing throughout all songs, which makes this band rather interesting.
