    I the BANSHEE nascono nell'inverno 2004 dalla scissione dei "Carmilla". Il bassista (compositore dei brani) Manuel Timperi insieme a Valentina Frizza (voce) dopo aver partecipato al reggaerock festival 2004 e ad altre rassegne minori riformano la band che, con l'arrivo di Gianluca Tizzano (chitarrista degli Emicrain) assume delle sonorità più moderne e a tratti più dure.
    Ultimamente si è aggiunto alla band Piero Arioni (batterista dei Rosae Crucis).
    Attualmente la band è impegnata nella registrazione del primo demo nonchè nella partecipazione alla ben nota rassegna per gruppi emergenti "EMERGENZA".
