    Pi is the circumference divided by the diameter of a circle. Theta is the symbol of a circle and its diameter. Such were the thoughts sprinting through the minds of the members of Pi Theta Pi when they formed the band on a high mountaintop in the Himalayas.

    To discover ways for human beings to bridge a gap from one side of the circle to the other - such is the purpose of Pi Theta Pi. After years of study, meditation, and quiet observation in a Tibetan Monastery, Pi Theta Pi came down from the mountain as men with a purpose. And starting in the city streets of Boston, MA, Pi Theta Pi will bring joy to all of humankind.
