rock'n'roll has got a long, long history. compared to that, the history of marygold is just damn short. but anyway, the intensity of this four-men-group over covers the lies of rock-historians, which pretend, that in our days music bases too much on electronic stuff, and has no handmade rough and dirty quality, no soul anymore. the others can clean up. somebody has to deliver the dirt. autumn 2001, marygold started to leave their marks of rough guitars and emotions allover switzerland. emotions you will never forget. Because you know them. The world is ok - nearly. the first lp “turned left but don`t know if it was right” was recorded in spring 2003 by deezl imhof at foolpark-studio in zug (switzerland): a powerful and emotional record, which was able to catch the live-energy, they show on stage.
