Two years ago Larrios decided to produce their debut album. Together they spent a year writing and recording their debut album, Armadillo Lounge, in various studios across two continents.
Powerful songs which, if you would like to put a label on them, could be branded as Old School Rock.
Intense compositions, diverse and charismatic. In other words: a non-Dutch sounding band with passion.
During the recording process larrios cooperate with Erwin Musper. Erwin is closely related to the band’s debut album from the early demo tapes, through to the final compositions. In studio the Bamboo Room (Cincinnati U.S.A.), Larrios finalized the end mix and master together with Musper.
During the production process it is Musper who suggests to release the album in 5.1 surround.
Musper claims that the music of Larrios is an experience, which will reach its full potential, once produced in 5.1 surround.
The band is also very pleased with the involvement of Albert van der Kroft (MASK Entertainment).
Albert advises the band on their possible next steps!
