    It all started choosing music as their life style when it was a time that being a band member was still cool. The Ran is a Finnish modern rock band from Helsinki formed in 2007 by people with different backgrounds. The band consists of Ali Pekcan vocals, Can Hekim keys, Sami Typpö guitars, Kirill Shapochkin bass and Mikko Uola on the drums. Since then they have been playing in numerous parties, events and clubs all around. They won the Emergenza Finland and the Nordic competition and selected as the 1st runner in every round.
    The Ran has a unique sound but still with familiar elements that appeal to a wide range of audience. The songs are mostly about the people, including their imaginary friends. They just want to have fun and that’s what they did until now. They are not scary people or aliens. Probably the strongest side of The Ran is their live performance where you can feel the interaction. What they have been doing already earned them some local fans in Finland. Filled with musical passion these guys are not trying to change the world but change the attitude.
