    À LA UNE
After spending six years in the popular Detroit local band Avenue, Todd Schoeneman the singer/songwriter has searched within himself and found a style all his own. With the formation of "Severance", Todd puts the passion back into the music and offers a fresh sound to the painfully repetitive Detroit music scene.

"My confidence has grown through my prior disappoints with Avenue. I have control over my music and I can address stylistic and emotional issues that I couldn't do before. I have assembled a group of musicians that believe in the music and it's definitely noticeable."

Rhythm guitars that drive, captivating leads, rich vocals and hooked melodies bring emphasis to the soulful lyrics that lie underneath.

The Instrumentation includes- Todd Schoeneman on Guitar/Vocals, Mark Pilotto on Lead/Back up vocals, Jeff Korner on Bass Guitar and Justin Sowers on Drums.

With an extensive history of live performance his songs have earned him:

-2 special guest spots on the nationally syndicated Mitch Albom Radio Show.

-Television appearance: Special Feature on Fox 2 News Morning for Outstanding Local Band.

-A special opportunity to work with Gold Album producer Jeff Robinson and two time -Grammy Award winner Gavin Lurrsen.

-Air play on 89x and 88.1FM The Escape, Clear Channel Stations in Grand Rapids MI, 96.1 WMAX, Star 105.7 WOOD,104.5 WSNX

-Invite to play CBA Showcase at Madison Square Gardens NYC.

-He was also featured in the Detroit News and Free press for his help in raising money for Hurricane relief during a 2002 benefit concert.

-Other credits include The Metrotimes and Real Detroit Weekly.

-He also earned the label as "Michigan 's freshest and most original" by the Plymouth Observer in 2003.

"We want to be the best band in Detroit and we'll leave it all out there, on stage, for people to make that decision. We want people to remember us when we complete our set. We're going to do our best every night to make sure that happens."

With a wide assortment of original material - Severance stands poised to attack the local music scene
