    Triple Threat:

Charisma, potency, ambition, and bite. These were among several key characteristics Co-Owner and Executive Vice President Kedar Nemley was looking for in early 2003 when he formed a new record label with a vision to bring some of the most promising recording artists to the forefront of the music industry. With business savvy and a penchant for developing hot talent, Nemley rounded out the management trifecta and Triple Threat Records was born.

The trio scoured the New York City area for local talent that would provide key ingredients in a recipe that many believe has the potential to redefine local and far-flung perceptions of crossover rock, soul and hip hop success. Months of auditions and studio sessions later, their hard work paid off as they narrowed a 100+ roster of up and coming rappers down to two: a hard hitting clever rapper by the name of Chase Cal (Spring Valley) and the young, Rockland-based (Spring Valley) rap prodigy Jelani a.k.a. J-iLLa. Their mix-tape The Chronicles of H-CIDE Vol.1 is to be released in early spring 07' and they are also in the processes of recording a live album with their band THE MOVEMENT after advancing to semi-finals in Emergenza’s Music Festival, inducting an entirely new genre and element into the history and evolution of the is now bland Hip-Hop.

    .........The Future:
Less than two years and one breakout mix-tape since its inception, the future of Triple Threat Records is clear and the best has yet to come. Nemley continues to scout, sign, and manage additional talent to complement H-CIDE and expand the Triple Threat Records lineup. The goal of Triple Threat Records is to find and develop highly-focused, driven, talented artists. The Triple Threat team will use its A&R talent, management experience, and vast resources to find and develop our artists’ creativity and help them build highly visible, marketable careers.
