    À LA UNE
Amesbury’s finest rock N Roll band has communicated to their fans that the meaning of Classic Rock is still loved today. From Amesbury, Rowley, and Byfield Massachusetts, these 6 young, talented musicians have brought back the feeling of classic rock music with a unique blend of various rock-based styles. Not only can these musicians play much of the "old" music, but they are also progressing in their own original material. Three of the original members from Oddysey include brothers Trevor and Pat Hogan and friend Curtis Marzerka, who have been playing together for more than a decade. After playing together for about six years and experiencing different types of music, they wanted to progress as musicians by establishing a complete band. Since then, it has been a bumpy road for the band as they have gone through many musicians and many disagreements, but now the band is well-adjusted to each other and their music. Some of Oddysey’s accomplishments over the years include putting together a Tsunami Benefit Concert in Feb. of 2005 and raising over $3,000 at this event. To advertise this event, they went on Radio Station 87.5 AM in Newburyport, MA. Also, in 2006, the band qualified to perform at the Bodog Battle of the Bands in Cambridge, MA. This is a National battle of the bands and Oddysey made it to perform at the semi-finals. Unfortunately, not making a meeting, the band did not get to perform in this round. Oddysey’s genre can be described as rock/reggae/funk/jam with much of thier material considered classic rock. Through the years, they are most thankful to their parents and all of their fans. Without them, Oddysey would be pretty much nothing. It might be tough for the members to come back every weekend to practice, but they will sure make a huge effort to still maintain the band in the future. For more information, please visit our website: www.oddyseyband.com. You can find updated info and pictures on our website and this page. Oddysey is currently still booking but is going to take it slow for a bit since college is in progress for three of the members. Thanks to all of our fans and please keep checking back for more details and information!
