    We are an amalgamation of varying musical tastes and influences. Taking cues and ideas from all genres and sub-genres of metal, including black, power, progressive, metalcore, thrash, speed, and the good ol' fashioned heavy metal; mixing them with outside sounds such as grunge and industrial. We choose to craft a unique sound. We work as hard as we can until a song is as good as we can make it, and we unleash it upon the world.

    Using the mercilessly fast leads provided by Kyle Cosentino, the powerful and dissonant chords and melodies of Brian "The Hanna", the thunderous, subdued undertones of Tom Okrie's bass, the one-man percussive assault that is Tim Marciano, and the raw power and aggresion of Jason "the Moof" Gamaufs voice marks the stamp on what Scourge is really all about. we aim to stamp our footprints all over the Chicagoland music scene, and moving outward from there.
