4 guys and some beer, well guess what, yes, a band was formed. In 2006, 37 toes united 4 musicians with the same dreams, passions and dedication for the artform of sound that they call music. Combining their strengths in elaborate, yet simple catchy rifs, 37 toes will run you through a wide span of emotions.
On bass, Bert Desjardins, with his unquestionnable skills, brings in classical sometimes funky influences, denoting perticular attention to detail and rythmical concepts.
On drums, Ixe Desjardins, keeps 37 toes on the right track, imposing his tribal somewhat heavy grooves, keeping the band members from exploring paths that could lead them into an unharmonic conclusion.
On vocals and guitar, Jay Jacob, incorporates rock feels from the past and great motivation for the futur, without fitting into any perticular mould, he highlights the bands most unconventional thoughts.
Phil Corbeil, like an emotional straightline, he unleashes his personality through his guitar and trumpet. From jazz to blues, he's the man with the sound. The quietest in the room but yet keeps the band united in critical phases of their musical creation.
With their unique not to say marginal material, we can say that the 37 toes' music will blow you away.
